On one of the days in September I had an opportunity to be a part of a small and very happy family!

It was a gloomy day and we thought that we might have to postpone our little adventure!

Patricia has planned the shoot as part of a surprise for her husband John on his birthday... He had no idea what is going on :)

I was warned that John hates formalities and would never agree to a photoshoot if he had a choice.

During the shoot everyone was having so much fun! 

Patricia, John and Kaitlin were running around the front yard, chasing each other with no indication of any sort of awkwardness that I was warned about earlier....

As a bonus at the end of the shoot I had a chance to meet their three lovely dogs...

Usually not allowed in the garden the dogs were delighted to run around the grass with a little bit of overwhelming excitement!

As I was driving home it started to rain! We finished minutes before it did. Charged with positive energy and happiness I drove home delighted that we stuck to our plan :)
