On the 20th of June 2015 I was honoured to shoot at my friends wedding. The day of my birthday and the day of an extraordinary couple to be married.

Living on the grounds of Tyrrelstown former Golf Club, they decided to have their wedding there, at home! And it was one of the most exciting and well thought out weddings I've ever been to.

The day started with Allie's preparations at the house...

Allie designed her very own dress that was crotched by Caroline Mitchell....

Make up artist did a great job for Allie, all of the bridesmaids and Lance's mam :)

And the eternal struggle of putting on the dress!

After which we were headed to the church, where the wedding ceremony took place...

Kids at a wedding are graceful and fabulous :)

Final moments before entering the church... Everyone is nervous and impatient ....

While the ceremony was going on, I had no choice but to wait outside. Strict house rules didn't allow any photography inside the church....

However strict the rules are... I couldn't resist to take a few sneaky snaps of a special moment...

The end of the ceremony was marked by a wonderful and friendly greetings from the guests...

While kids took the liberty of not taking Irish sun for granted....

Along the driveway into the house there are a number of trees planted by the previous newlyweds... This tradition is continued by new Mr and Mrs Smith!
